Fishers High School

The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (3-8/2-6) hung tough and stayed close to Westfield through 4 innings before the Shamrocks pulled away late for a 10-4 victory. In the bottom of the 2nd with 2 outs, Micah Moore singled and advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch. Carlos Altuve reached on an error which allowed Moore to score. The Tigers continued fighting and tied the game at 3 at the end of the 4th inning. In the 3rd, Baldini singled before Carter Davis also reached on an error allowing Baldini to score also with 2 outs. Finally, Vinny Pecoraro also connected on a 2-out single to bring in courtesy runner Matthew Smith. Jerry Jaramillo was excellent on the mound even though he took the loss. Jaramillo went 5 innings allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits while recording 5 strikeouts.
