Big 4th Inning Leads HSE Past Fishers

Hamilton Southeastern scored four runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Fishers Varsity Tigers 6-0 on Tuesday. Hamilton Southeastern got on the board in the third inning after #16 grounded out, scoring one run. Grace Swedarsky earned the win for Hamilton Southeastern. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 17 and walking two. Kate Murray took the loss for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The hurler went seven innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on 11 hits, striking out 10 and walking one. Cate Summerfield and Kendall Jordan each collected two hits for Fishers Varsity Tigers. Hamilton Southeastern accumulated 11 hits in the game. Hamilton Southeastern's #12, the number nine hitter, led Hamilton Southeastern with three hits in three at bats. #16 and #12 each drove in one run for Hamilton Southeastern. #14 collected two hits for Hamilton Southeastern in three at bats. Hamilton Southeastern were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. #39 had the most chances in the field with 16. Fishers Varsity Tigers will travel to Mt. Vernon for their next game on Thursday. Summerfield 2-3, Jordan 2-3 2B, Cook 1-3
