The Fishers Tigers welcomed the Lawrence North Wildcats for their 2026 home opener on Friday night. While the Tigers showed continued growth offensively, they were unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities as the Wildcats claimed a 48-0 victory. Fishers was led offensively by Max Hopkins, who finished with 60 receiving yards. On the ground, Jared Bonds, Sam Hawkins Jr., and Hayden Skelton combined for nearly 70 rushing yards, helping the Tigers generate positive yardage throughout the evening. Lawrence North struck quickly after taking the opening kickoff, marching down the field on its first possession. Quarterback Darian Prather connected with Amari Moore for a touchdown just three minutes into the contest to give the Wildcats an early lead. The Tigers responded with one of their strongest drives of the night, converting a fourth down to keep the possession alive. Facing another fourth-down situation later in the drive, Fishers appeared poised to continue moving the chains before a pass breakup ended the threat and resulted in a turnover on downs. Lawrence North wasted little time capitalizing, as Izayveon Moore broke free for a 72-yard touchdown run on the very next play, extending the Wildcats' advantage to 14-0. Fishers battled throughout the second quarter, highlighted by a booming 52-yard punt from Graham Stout that pinned Lawrence North deep in its own territory. The Wildcats answered with an impressive drive of their own, culminating in another touchdown connection between Prather and Amari Moore. Lawrence North carried a 27-0 lead into halftime. Looking to generate momentum after the break, the Tigers opened the second half with a spark as Roman Wessel connected with Hopkins on a pass down the right sideline for a significant gain. However, the drive stalled before Fishers turned the ball over on downs. The Wildcats added another score later in the half, pushing the margin to the point where a running clock was implemented for the remainder of the game.
